Summer card camp week 3

 

 Here we are already in week 3 of summer card camp. I am loving the colour combination this week. That said I have moved to some bright colours following week 1 and 2. Thanks for the poke in the right direction.

My card for this week is ,of course, using my favorite Papertrey ink supplies. I have used the versimark technique on the flowers and the masking from Papertrey tutorial. I thank all those who have given me inspiration this week and helping me avoid housework as there are better things to do with time. See you soon Gwyneth

Another card camp card

Yes I got up to lofy heights again and played with this weeks card sketch and colours. What a mess up there I will spend the rest of the weekend sorting and cleaning.

The die are new from spellbinders and the sentiment is , of course, from Papertrey. Have a good weekend . Looking forward to the 3rd week of summercamp. Cheers Gwyneth

Week 2 Summer Card Camp

Week 2 of summer camp was more of a challenge both with time to play and yet again a colour combination I would not normally put together. The card for the gallery took me ages to design and I am not sure I am entirely happy with the result, you decide. Papertrey order arriving Wednesday helped as I was able to play with new stash that fitted with the combination. I am enjoying the camp as not only does it make me look at different colours but also how I design and has answered some of the questions of why i don't think some cards are "balanced". Thank you.
